Shipyard artist Kathryn Kain is offering a monotype workshop Saturday & Sunday, January 25 and 26, 10 AM-4 PM at the Hunters Point Shipyard studios. No printmaking experience is required. Five participants limit; reservations required.
“Art on the Edge,” a new video series introduced in October 2019, features Shipyard artists talking about why they create art and what working in the Shipyard artist community means to them.
The videos are created by Shipyard filmmakers Sean Karlin and Orli Damari. New videos are released twice a month.
The Hunters Point Shipyard Artists (HPSA) are the largest artist community in the United States, almost 300 artists in working studios.
We are located in the former U.S. naval shipyard of San Francisco, Hunters Point Shipyard. We are open to the public just three times a year: Spring Open Studios (April-May), Fall Open Studios (mid-October) and our Holiday Party & Art Show (1st Sunday in December).
