The use of color in my work has a strong influence from popular art in Mexico and Haiti. The paintings that you see are made with a modern fresco technique which is a mix of plaster with acrylic paint.
I use irregular forms in my paintings; they are neither rectangles nor squares. I call these shapes “Puzzle Pieces” because it is possible to combine them in multiple ways, creating more than one painting.
