In my paintings I attempt to capture the individual’s essence, to portray all emotions they are exhibiting. Historically I have worked primarily with individuals, and also with dyads and groups. These paintings were taken from live studio work, sketches when traveling, and also photographs taken abroad. I’ve found it rewarding to capture the relationships between individuals in a work, to portray interpersonal reactions.
Individuals rendered reside in the US, Europe, and Asia.
