Ruth Geos lives and works in San Francisco.  Her studio at the Shipyard has been her constant working and creative base since 1986. Her distinctive and original work, drawing on bird feathers, gold, poetry, and music, reaches for the ecstatic edges of life and thought. Her studio was recently included in the Hyperallergic feature, A View from the Easel: https://hyperallergic.com/868105/a-view-from-the-easel-220/

In celebration of the 40th anniversary of the studios at Hunters Point Shipyard, and her own 38th year at the shipyard, her studio will be a part of Fall Open Studios, in deep appreciation of the good fortune of having a studio, and the work it has made possible.
