Stephanie Peek’s artworks are exhibited in national and international museums and galleries including Andra Norris Gallery in Burlingame and Seager Gray Gallery in Mill Valley.
Peek graduated with an MFA in painting from the UC Berkeley and BA from Wellesley College.
Awards and honors include the American Academy in Rome, Borso di Studio in Florence, and nominations for a Fleishhacker Eureka Fellowship and a SECA award at the San Francisco MOMA.
San Francisco artist Stephanie Peek's paintings have been exhibited in both national and international galleries and museums. In San Francisco, California, Peek's paintings have been exhibited at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art Artists’ Gallery and at Triangle Gallery, at Sloan Miyasato with Michelle Bello, Satellite of Love Gallery, Andra Norris Gallery in Burlingame, Seager Gray Gallery in Mill Valley, and in San Diego at Susan Street Fine Art, in Santa Monica at the Lora Schlesinger Gallery. Her paintings have been shown at Friesen Gallery in Sun Valley, Idaho and Seattle, Washington, as well as the Grey Gallery of New York University, New York City and Argazzi Art in Lakeville, CT. Internationally, her paintings have been shown in Badajoz, Spain and Florence, Italy. There have been exhibitions of Peek's paintings and artists’ books at the Contemporary Museum of Art in Prato, Italy, the University of California, Berkeley, University of California, San Diego, and the Museo Italo-Americano in San Francisco, at the Oakland Museum of California. Peek's artist’s books have been collected by the Library of Congress of the United States, the New York Public Library, Harvard and Stanford Universities, the University of California at Berkeley as well as private collectors nationally and internationally. Her work has been reproduced in several issues of Inquiring Mind and The Christian Science Journal. Peek graduated with an MFA in painting from the University of California, Berkeley and BA in Art History from Wellesley College, Boston. She has taught painting at the San Francisco Art Institute, Diablo Valley College, Academy of Art University, Dominican University in San Rafael, California, and been a visiting lecturer at University of California at Berkeley. Awards and honors include Visiting Artist at the American Academy in Rome, Borso di Studio in Florence, Italy, J. Ruth Kelsey Travel Grant, Susan B. Irwin Scholarship in the Visual Arts, Virginia McPheter-Stoltz Fellowship and recent nominations for Fleishhacker Foundation Eureka Fellowship and the SECA award at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
