I grew up in Portland Maine. I received a degree in Fashion Merchandising and moved to Dallas Texas where I was a buyer for several years. I got married, moved to San Francisco and was a buyer for a few more years until I went to school at UC Berkeley. I received a double major in French 19th culture and the practice of art. I rented a studio at the Point and was a painter until a few years ago when I began making metal jewelry. Somehow along the line I became interested in polymer clay due to its colorful versatility and have been exploring its many possibilities ever since. Lately I've also been experimenting with resin to make nostalgia-themed hair clips.
