Rinat Goren was born and raised in Israel. As a child, teen and young adult she was always creating art, but only later in life she realized her urge to be an artist. Her work is primarily encaustic (beeswax and pigment) and mostly abstract. Goren is inspired by thinking people around her. People who use their mind, solve problems, ask questions, make decisions and act based on reason. Her abstract are an experiment with conveying the process of thinking: how we understand, how we form a thought and how we make decisions. Her work is a celebration of this unique human ability to think.
