Bay Area Experimental Film and Video at the Shipyard May 5: Inner Spaces-All These Places

Part of the “To the Point” series

Sunday May 5, 11 a.m. during Spring Open Studios 
Hunters Point Shipyard, Building 101 Auditorium – Directions

Local film and video artists will present a program of short experimental films exploring themes of identity, ways of seeing and the relationship between humans and the environment. Brief talks by each filmmaker will be followed by a conversation among the artists about their artistic process.

Participating Filmmakers: Sofia Córdova, Desirée Holman, Anne McGuire, Haleigh Nickerson, and Yetunde Olagbaju.

Co-curated and hosted by: Gina Basso (independent film curator and Manger of Film Programs, SFMOMA) and Ryanaustin Dennis (independent curator, visual artist and Curatorial Council member, Southern Exposure).
