We are excited to report that the first piece of equipment was installed on Dec 5, 2022, a Panasonic 6,000 lumen 4k projector! Thank you JK Sound for getting it done!
We are working towards our $100,000 goal to completely outfit our new Shipyard Gallery with stackable chairs and tables, a projection screen, sound system and other equipment to support the space's multiple purposes: exhibit space, event space, meeting room, classroom, and more.
To date we have raised $33,570 through the art auction and direct donations during Fall Open Studios and the Holiday Show, as well as $17,500 from other sources. So we are half way there with $50,570 raised!
Some of the ways you can still support STAR and the Shipyard Gallery:
Donate $1,000 or more and you will be honored on a plaque in our gallery.
STAR is a 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofit organization. Donations are fully deductible to the extent permitted by law.
We thank the many generous bidders in our October 2022 auction as well as donors during Fall Open Studios and the Holiday Show, who collectively raised over $33,570 for the gallery equipment, furniture and programs!
