The Light & Sound Artists:
Planning for the crane illumination project—a fusion of video and light art as well as music and spoken word—has been ongoing for over a year, with the renowned team of Ian Winters and Elaine Buckholtz brought on to imagine the artistic and technical aspects of the crane illumination. Past projects of the pair include Lumière at the Penshaw monument in the UK. The illumination and live sounds will be presented at Shipyard Building 101 on October 19, 6 – 10 PM. The illuminated crane can also be viewed from any other locations where it is visible, with the option to tune in to the streamed soundscape presentation.
Soundscape Artists: Evelyn Ficarra, Chris Evans, David Boyce, PC Munoz
