Selected works from my recent series of abstract landscapes entitled “California Roaming” will be on view. The works range from very small (5″ x 7″) to large (46″ x 40″) and reflect my experiences wandering through natural places in Northern California. I keep these locations in mind when I return to the studio and delve into my paints to bring some of those feelings and colors to the canvas.
Gallery owner Lola Herrera is a talented artist. Whenever you visit her storefront studio you will see beautiful textiles, fashionable bespoke clothing, personal goods, illustrations and paintings. She supports local artists by showing their work along with her own. I am pleased that she invited me to show my paintings in this great Noe Valley location.
