From Shipyard artist Nicole Mueller:
I am grateful to be writing this to you from an artist residency at the Pouch Cove Foundation in Newfoundland and Labrador, Canada, where I’ve been the last few weeks and will continue working through the end of April.
At the end of March, I flew out from San Francisco to Toronto, where I spent a few wonderful days exploring the local art scene, and then continued on to my month-long artist residency here in Newfoundland:
The landscape here is truly remarkable, as it sits right on the edge of the North Atlantic Ocean as the most easterly point in North America.
I’ll be producing a series of new paintings, which will culminate in an exhibition at James Baird Gallery, alongside two fellow painters that are working here this month—more details to come.
New work in the studio…
I have many newly completed paintings at my studio in San Francisco, exploring color and gesture as a form of visual language, and a means of depicting internal landscapes or abstract environments in flux. View all currently available work here on Artwork Archive. Please reach out with any inquiries to: firstname.lastname@example.org

Thanks for keeping up with my practice,
P.S. Last week marked the 1 year anniversary of having left my day job to pursue my painting practice full-time. Words can’t describe the amount of gratitude I have for every opportunity that’s come my way. Thank you for all of your support of my work and being a part of this creative journey!
