Another oil on canvas. I am very happy with the overall composition of this painting. This one features the political scene with a donkey, a frog, a cat in the hat, a fox (one was hanging around my apartment during the pandemic, and some endangered animals. A neighbor gave me some stuffed animals. I am scrubbing thin paint layers onto the canvas as if I was using pastel, which gives the work a fun, furry look.

A collection of stuffed animals: computer, star wars, dragon, dino, horsey, fish and lamb on a beach towel with green backdrop. Oil on canvas, grey underpainting.
My second oil on canvas in many years. I am happy with the richness of the colors. I am scrubbing thin paint layers onto the canvas as if I was using pastel, which gives the work a fun, furry look. A neighbor gave me some stuffed animals and I am arranging them to suit my post-pandemic mood.

A bunch of stuff and my pet rabbit, George on a yellow backdrop.

A scene with three hens, watermelon, persimmons, oranges, toy sword and buttons.
I visited a woman who had hens in her West Portal backyard. I did this from videos I shot of them. When I exhibited this, I was surprised how many people love chickens! I grew up in the suburbs so the only experience I have with chickens is when I was very young I wandered off and got into the neighbor’s chicken coop to play. This is an acrylic on canvas, 32″ x 40″ x 2″, unframed.
$1,495.00
still life white roses, Gibson guitar, Fender amplifier and rabbits on a reddish background.
$1,495.00
Three paintings in one set that you can arrange in any configuration that works…which can make room for architectural features, although it looks great on one large wall.
Feel like you are at an aquarium! (I wanted the fish to feel free.)
One of my favorite pieces that I never have room to show, but since we are online, now it seems possible to show more artwork. If I don’t have it on display in the studio, I am happy to bring it to your location to try it out. All wired and ready to try out.
The tall configuration shown would be about 8 feet tall on a wall, more or less (6.5 feet minimum needed).
The wide configuration shown would be about 11 feet wide on a wall, more or less (9.3 feet minimum needed).
Individual sizes: two at 24 x 36 x .75 and 24 x 34 x.75
