The Síndria lady 🍉
Original artwork: Oil on cotton paper ~ 11″ x 8″
“Síndria” in my native language Catalá means watermelon, a word borrowed from the Arabic sindiyya, “Sindhi”. I think it’s a beautiful word.
W-a-t-e-r-m-e-l-o-n is so long… “long as a day without bread,” so in my house we call this fruit the Catalan way 😉
