Description

This is a print of Afatasi The Artist’s fifth (TAPA)stry piece. A play on the biblical story of the “The Three Wise Men”, this piece speaks to the layered and complex relationships mothers have with their daughters. The central panel is representative of Afatasi and her two sisters. The light emitted from the guiding star, contains all of the broken English/Samoan phrases Afatasi and her sisters grew up hearing from their mother.
