Victoria Veedell in gallery exhibits

News from Shipyard artists Victoria Veedell:

Recently Voss Gallery, in partnership with the Ferry Building in San Francisco, put out a call for art for a show called “Urban Tides: A San Francisco Story,” an open call seeking to illuminate the vibrant soul of the Bay Area through the lenses of its most creative artists.

What immediately came to mind was how much I enjoy taking walks along the bay and how that feeds my creative spirit. In response to the call, I made the two paintings here, “Twilight Whisper” and “At Crissy Field.” They are both views from Crissy Field in San Francisco.

You were allowed to submit one piece so I picked “Twilight Whisper” and that will be shown at Voss Gallery, July 13-August 17.

“Converge,” a benefit exhibition at the Bridgette Mayer Gallery in Philadelphia.
I created “Silence at Daybreak” for this show. I’m excited as this is my first time showing in Philly!

“Converge” will be on view from Tuesday, June 11, to Saturday, August 3, 2024. This year marks the gallery’s largest Benefit Exhibition yet, with almost 300 artworks from local, national, and international artists.

The Benefit exhibition is an incredible opportunity to purchase high-value artwork at a great price, while supporting their nonprofit partners!
