Capturing everyday images that offer viewers a fresh look by emphasizing patterns, colors, and textures of subjects that evoke joy and, in some cases, memories. The varied digital enhancement capabilities have made this a gratifying process and printing on canvas, the right medium for me.
I began my photographic journey in the early 1960s. Eventually, I worked as a freelancer and medical photographer, before embarking on a long career in corporate images and graphics. Post retirement, my path led to numerous trips to Myanmar (Burma), documenting the people and humanitarian aid projects of Partners Asia. Although my heroes in the world of photography are many, Dorothea Lange, Walker Evans, Robert Frank, and Garry Winogrand are at the top of the list.
