Patrick Piazza lives and works in San Francisco California. He first exhibited his work in the late 1980’s and has been included in exhibitions from Seattle and San Francisco to Los Angeles and New York City. His photographic and design works have been included in books that have been published nationally and internationally.
Patrick Piazza completed an MFA in Fine Art Photography at the San Francisco Art Institute in 2003. In addition to exhibiting photography he has developed a large body of work as a self-taught printmaker and multimedia artist. He was a member of the political art collective, The San Francisco Print Collective.
Currently he designs political posters and prints publicly with the San Francisco Poster Syndicate. A number of his prints are in the collections of the Library of Congress, the Bancroft Library, the Smithsonian, and the Center for the Study of Political Graphics. In 2002 He was the recipient of the Paul Sack Award for Fine Art Photography.
He speaks Spanish fluently and has traveled widely throughout Mexico and Central America.
